Legal Matters

The legal side to BTF is headed up by Colin Hall who joined the practice in early 2005, having spent the previous five years as the NFU's Chief Legal Adviser.

The department deals with a whole range of issues, from specific agricultural property and holdings problems, residential tenancies, farm worker accommodation arrangements and occupation of redundant farm buildings; to agricultural structures, subsidies and environmental matters.

The practice expanded in 2006 with its takeover of the 50 Club Horticultural Employers' Association encompassing mainstream horticultural and agricultural employment advice to its 300 plus membership.
